Yesterday I watched Grumpy Old Men and Grumpier Old Men, both for the first time ever. Both were enjoyable. I wasn't very impressed with a highly regarded pairing of them earlier in their careers (The Odd Couple), but both of these were more interesting to me, perhaps because they were more Hollywood-ish, which isn't typically to my taste. I dunno. I liked the happy ending with Mathau and Lemmon, perhaps because I like both of them. I don't want to see bad things happen to them.
Just before that, I saw The Music Man for the first time. It has been a weekend of firsts.
Currently watching The Old Gringo, a film about Ambrose Bierce's last days and disappearance.
